Album number two from Toulouse punk rockers ‘Lame Shot’ tirelessly mixes pop punk and skate punk radness, without missing a beat.
‘Lame Shot’ clearly don’t take themselves too seriously singing songs about their orange van and their love of Zooey Deschanel; this is kinda what you want from a pop punk band; I mean Blink 182 made a career out of fart and dick jokes.
‘Try Again’ is rammed packed full of lush sing-along vocal melodies, killer guitar riffs and a super tight rhythm section; the ‘Hammond’ organ and occasional brass section is a really nice touch that gives the band an extra layer.
Like Freddy Krueger ‘Lame Shot’ will be haunting your dreams and taking over your stereo.
Just imagine your stereo had four heads, eight arms, hands bodies, legs and feet with a solo mission to ram pack your pulsating brain with pop punk power jams.
Sounds Scary right??? Nah sounds totally badass to me! think how impressed your buddies will be next time you throw a party, like the dream warriors you will control this beast.
