‘Here We Go Again/See You in Hell’ is a beautifully crafted piece of pop-punk radness.
Picture yourself sitting with your loved ones and buddies, BBQ sizzling contently; you crack open an ice cold 40oz and suddenly ‘Old Wives – Here We Go Again/See You in Hell’ comes on your stereo. You quickly lean over and crank up the volume; letting the killer jams of Old Wives wash over you. As your eyes look upwards, you notice a look of joy creeping over the faces of everyone within listening distance.
Old Wives have more in common with mid 90’s pop-punk greats such as NUFAN and Lagwagon rather than the uninspired, watered-down junk that is currently spreading through the mainstream like a plague.
