while we are on the subject of death metal. death is formed in 1983 as mantas by chuck schuldiner. in 1984 the band recorded their first demo called “death by metal”. soon after the recording the band split up and chuck formed a new band named death. chuck passed away in dec 13th, 2001 beacause of a brainstem tumor. in my eyes one of the best album in this genre…  maybe the best. get it here
