Finland punk rock band Deposit Man published new song Bang a Cowboy at video. This song will appear at band’s upcoming album.
Bang a Cowboy shows off a lighter yet more versatile side to Deposit Man. “I wanted to compose a more romantic song then Lance named it Bang a Cowboy”, explains composer Elias Casanova. Vocalist-Guitarist Lance Fono explains the idea behind the lyrics, “People these days stick religiously to their political sides, left or right and I wrote these lyrics to question what happens if you wanted to bang a gun toting cowboy, which side do you choose then?”.
Formed in November 2014 by four punk Dads in their 30s, Deposit Man plays melodic punk with lyrics that cover politics in the government, at work and at home. The band consists of four Oulu-based players: Lance Fono (New Zealand/Samoa), Elias Casanova (Spain), Matti Honkala and Janne Knuuti (Finland).
