Punk band from Oslo, Norway.
The band started under the name Notification, changed to Silver in 2000. They debuted in 2000 with the Billboard Blackout EP. Silver were one of the winning bands during Zoom 2000 and were sent on the subsequent Zoom tour in Norway, England and Scotland in the spring of 2001. In 2001, they released Riot 1-2-3 EP on Virgin. The next release was the album White Diary, followed by the singles "Angels Calling", "The Sin Fix Journal" and "Funeral Class One". "Angels Calling" became a hit and was constantly played on radio and TV. After White Diary, Emil Nikolaisen left as drummer, and was replaced by Kim Akerholdt, who later left the band and was replaced by Jonas Thire from Amulet.
