The Templars son una banda Oi! que se formo en Long Island, Nueva York en abril de 1991. Sus influencias musicales van del Oi!, punk Rock, Glam Rock y el Rock’n’roll. Ellos han tendido a utilizar intencionalmente técnicas de grabación de baja calidad (su estudio “Acre Studios” es un garaje). La banda esta compuesta por: Perry Hardy (bajista) y Chris White (Guitarra), ambos a tiempo completo, la banda en los conciertos utiliza una formacion de 4 miembros, uniendose Carl Fritscher (Bajo) y Phil Rigaud (Bateria), Phil tambien es el bateria de los Stomper 98.
